Drs. Lyons and Gunsolus and the whole team at North Seattle Orthodontics are proud supporters of our local community.
Each summer North Seattle Orthodontics host a food drive for Northwest Harvest. The food banks have many donations during the holiday times, but in the summer time there is a greater need for food donations. For the past 10 years we have challenged the offices of the dentists that we work closely with to join us in our efforts to increase donations to Northwest Harvest. Our patients are also encouraged to join in the giving spirit and we have a raffle for those who participate.
During the holidays Drs. Lyons and Gunsolus facilitate a collection for Christmas gifts to go to the foster children at Tree House Center. Our office has a Giving tree set up through the month of December and a collection of holiday presents to help spread the Christmas spirit.
In the month of February for National Dental Health Month, Dr. Lyons donates her time at the local schools. With the Happy Healthy Smiles programs any private or public neighborhood school can have a presentation about oral hygiene and developing healthy habits for their students.
