Amy - I am originally from Colorado and moved to Washington in 1990.  I still have most of my family in Colorado, so I try to visit there at least twice a year.  I have worked for Dr’s Lyons and Gunsolus since 1999.  Initially working as an assistant in the clinic, I eventually moved into a Treatment Coordinator position where I am able to work with patients and families explaining treatment recommendations and helping them through the process of getting started with treatment.  I am very glad to be working with such a wonderful group of people, all of whom I consider friends as well as co-workers.  My husband and I married in 2005 and most o our spare time is currently consumed with preparing for the birth of our first child, due end of March, 2007.  I also enjoy cooking, crafts, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. 

George - I am a native to the northwest and enjoy the lifestyle that Seattle affords us all. Working in the dental field has been a wonderful passion of mine for over 6 years and as the Office Manager, I know that both new and existing patients find North Seattle Orthodontics to be a pleasant and professional facility. I love working here for both Drs. Lyons and Gunsolus, who happen to be two of the best orthodontists in Washington State. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and I am also currently the President of The Saint Mary's Food Bank Board which provides so much for our local community. I like reading, computers, travel, eating out, volunteering, fundraising, networking and spending time with friends and family.

Dawn - I moved to the Seattle area in 1989 from the Florida Keys.  I have had the pleasure of working for 3 wonderful dentists since 1992 as receptionist/financial coordinator.  Drs. Lyons and Gunsolus hired me in December 2005 as a backup receptionist then I moved into the collection department and now I’m the Financial Coordinator.  It is so great working with such a highly respected group of people who love what they do.  My husband and I have been married since 1999. We are fortunate to have 2 beautiful Border Collie/Pointer mixed puppies ’Diva’ and ’Griffrey’- can’t forget their older brother ’Sweetness’ the cat.
I enjoy my family life, working on our home, making candles and playing with the pups.

Laurie - I’m a native to Seattle since 1950 so I’ve seen the horizon change from tall trees to tall buildings. I sang in the original outdoor Christmas tree choir as a child at Northgate Mall before they enclosed it. JP patches and Gertrude the clowns were a popular local “couple” then. Remember Stan Borrison the accordion player? I’m the second of four other siblings, have two grown children and four grandchildren. This is my second time working in orthodontics. I love the interactions with our patients and seeing the results of their treatment. I’m also very proud to work for such knowledgeable doctors.

Nancy - I joined North Seattle Orthodontics in January,2007 and very much enjoy working with our team of dedicated staff. I've lived here most of my life and met my husband in 1996. We enjoy camping and sporting events, bust most of all spending time with family and friends. We have a very energetic 15 month old son who is so much fun and keeps us extremely busy.

Caterina - I am new to the practice of orthodontics but have been working in the health industry as both a personal trainer and an EMT. I have over ten years of administration experience in the stock market industry and managing real estate within trust accounts. My goal is to always make everyone's experience at our office rewarding and make them feel like they are an extension of the Lyons and Gunsolus family. I am very excited to be in such an energetic and positive environment. I enjoy working out, running, and spending time with my 16 year old daughter and boyfriend.

Jean - I was born in the Philippines in 1974 with a total of 10 siblings. My parents flew all of his children to Seattle , WA in 1983 to establish a better future. Since 1994, I have been an employee for Drs. Lyons and Gunsolus as a sterilization/clinician and recently took a responsibility of being the clinical coordinator. In my quality time, I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, outdoor activities, spending time with friends, family and my cat Peppy who likes to wake me up every morning at 4:30 . I also train for a half marathon a couple times a year.

Kattie - I enjoy working at North Seattle Orthodontics, we have a team work focused environment and a beautiful new facility. I like getting to know the patients and families that we see. When I am not at North Seattle Orthodontics, I can be found working part time at another orthodontic office on the eastside, or enjoying past times of reading, cooking, camping, swimming, or spending time with family and friends. I am recently married to the love of my life; we have bought a house in the area and are spending much of our time on remodel projects.

Christina - I started working in the dental field in 1989 and joined Drs. Gunsolus and Lyons in 2005. I enjoy working with a team that creates beautiful smiles. I’m married with two wonderful children who take up most of my time outside the office watching my daughter cheer and spend playtime hours with my son. I also enjoy cooking, reading and watching movies.

Kim - I have been working at North Seattle Orthodontics since 2001. I am one of Drs. Lyons and Gunsolus’ clinicians. I have three wonderful kids, who take most of my time out of work. We love to spend our time going to gymnastics, football and baseball and on the weekends you can find us hiking, visiting Mt. Ranier or Lake Chelan.

Teresa -For the past years I have been a special education teacher but decided to pursue a career in orthodontics and I’m learning new things everyday. You will most likely see me taking impressions, as I am the records clinician, or working on the computer to ensure that all your x-rays and photos make it safely into our computer software. I am also an extended family member of Jean, Heidi, and Hanie.  It is great to be able to see them everyday! I enjoy running marathons, cooking and hanging out with my boyfriend and chubby cat Mimi.

Heidi - I started working at North Seattle Orthodontics in 2000 as a part-time sterilization tech/records tech/office support and now a fulltime clinic person. This profession allows me to learn new things that help me gain more knowledge and experience everyday. I enjoy the technical aspects of the dental field, meeting people  and helping patients during their treatment. During my spare time, I can be found at my new home baking, reading, watching movies or just hanging out and relaxing. My fiancé and I also like to visit our families, play with his 3 adorable nieces, travel, and shop.

Mignon - As an assistant with over 10 years experience, I am the newest member to join the team. Reading, spending time with my family and improving my cooking skills are just a few of my hobbies. One word friends would use to describe me is HUMBLE.
